Russian forces are trying to enter the city of Kupiansk from the northwest, according to the military analysis group DeepState.
Assault groups are advancing from the direction of Radkivka near a gas station, as well as from Holubivka toward the residential area. Ukraine’s Defense Forces are taking active measures to push them back.
The situation is further complicated by the fact that Russian troops have penetrated as far as the village of Sobolivka. According to DeepState, the enemy’s goal is to stretch Ukraine’s defensive lines, break through, and attempt to encircle the city from the west.
