On the morning of 27 April, rescuers recovered the body of a man who died as a result of a Russian air strike on the town of Kupiansk in the Kharkiv region, according to the State Emergency Service.

On the evening of 26 April, Russian troops struck residential areas of the city with guided bombs. One of the bombs hit a private house, which was completely destroyed. Seven more houses were damaged.

A man born in 1936 died under the rubble. Two women aged 65 and 60 were also injured — doctors diagnosed them with acute stress reaction, but they refused hospitalisation.
