A factory belonging to the Polish company Barlinek Group, one of the world’s largest manufacturers of wooden flooring, was damaged by Russian strikes on Vinnytsia.
This was reported by Polish Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski.
According to him, the strike was deliberately carried out from three directions. Representatives of the Polish consulate are working on site together with Ukrainian emergency services.
‘The factory director just told me that this was done deliberately. There are wounded, two of them with severe burns. Putin’s criminal war is approaching our borders,’ Sikorski said.
The Barlinek Group manufactures oak and ash parquet flooring and exports its products to 75 countries on six continents.
On the night of 16 July, 28 ‘shaheds’ were launched on Vinnytsia. According to the regional administration, the strike hit a civilian industrial facility, injuring at least eight people.
