583 children died in Ukraine as a result of Russia’s armed aggression

More than 2,238 children have been affected in Ukraine as a result of Russia’s full-scale armed aggression. As of the morning of 26 October 2024, according to official information from juvenile prosecutors, 583 children were killed and more than 1655 were injured of varying severity.

Children were most affected in the following regions: Donetsk – 595, Kharkiv – 454, Dnipro – 183, Kherson – 181, Kyiv – 133, Zaporizhzhia – 145.

During the day:

  • On 25 October, a 14-year-old girl died as a result of a hostile UAV attack on Kyiv.
  • On 25 October, a girl died as a result of shelling by the Russian army in Dnipro. Dnipro, a 14-year-old girl died. 4 children were wounded:  2 boys and 2 girls.
  • On 25 october, an 11-year-old boy was injured when the rF military dropped an explosive object on a civilian car in Kherson district of Kherson region.
