Today, July 1, rescuers unblocked another body from under the rubble in the Svyatoshynskyi district of Kyiv after the Russian strike on the night of July 31.
This was reported by the State Emergency Service.
As a result of the Russian attack, 28 people died, including three children – three, six and 17 years old. 159 people were injured, including 16 children.
As a reminder, on the night of July 31, the Russians massively attacked Kyiv with strike UAVs and missiles. The Solomyanskyi, Svyatoshynskyi, Shevchenkivskyi and Holosiivskyi districts were most affected. Damage to civilian infrastructure was recorded at 27 locations.
August 1 was declared a Day of Mourning in Kyiv for those killed in the Russian attack on July 31. As a sign of mourning, the State Flag of Ukraine and the Flag of Kyiv on the buildings of enterprises, institutions and organizations of municipal property were lowered to half-mast with a black ribbon.
